The Roberge Family's Golden Arizona Desert Family Session

The Roberge Family's Golden Arizona Desert Family Session

We seriously can't believe how time flies. Full disclaimer right up front...we might get a little teary-eyed while we write about this beautiful family because we have seriously watched them grow up before our very eyes. We're also gonna get on our soap box for a few seconds and tell you to love your dang kids when they're small because, before you know it, they're going to be gorgeous young adults and all those squishy baby cheeks will be gone. Seriously stop reading right here and go hug and kiss your kids.........Done? Now do that everyday because time is short and kids need our LOVE more than anything else in the world. Ok, end soapbox rant.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled beautiful family blog post...

Every single member of this family deserves their own blog post, because they are seriously that awesome. But alas, we don't have enough space to write all the wonderful things about them all that we wish we could, so how about a few highlights?

We have known this family almost from the first day we moved to Arizona, and we are so blessed because of it.

First off, Keith is a wonderful father and husband who constantly sacrifices for his kids and without a doubt puts his family first in everything. A true inspiration for other dad's out there...no joke.

Jenn is like super-mom...on steroids. She is constantly working, fighting for, loving, and caring for her four beautiful children. Not to mention she's totally gorgeous inside and out. She's full of power and grace and it's no wonder her kids turned out the way they did with mom like her!

Riley, oh Riley...what the heck happened?! Last time we saw Riley she was a brace-faced 12 year old with all the trappings of an awkward Junior High Schooler. Now she's going to be a beautiful freshman in college, a Volleyball rockstar, with a mind that loves to read, and a heart of gold.

Keaton grew about 12 feet since last we saw him...and ummm...well there's no easy way to say this...became a full-blown heart breaker?! He's left behind the Legos (well maybe...) and is growing into quite the fantastic (not to mention HANDSOME) young man. If he turns out anything like his Dad, he'll be a pretty awesome dude.

Jada is a ray of golden sunshine both inside and out. She loves to laugh, goof off, and gives JT a run for his money as the family clown. In some ways she really is following in her big brother and sister's footsteps, and in other ways she totally shines through with her own unique personality.

JT, is their youngest and being the youngest is tough! Especially when you have to follow in the footsteps of such amazing older siblings. Don't worry though, JT keeps up just fine and is blossoming into quite a fine young man. He knows how to rock the bow-tie like a boss and, despite being the youngest, might just walk away with the "Funniest Family Member Award" when all is said and done.

We've known this family for ten years or so, and we are really hoping to know them for at least another 10. You guys rock and if our kids grow up to be half as cool as yours, we'll consider that a win! We love you guys!

Fri-yay weekly Recap #18!

Fri-yay weekly Recap #18!

Fri-yay is back like Marty and Doc, y'all! We've had a fun-filled week of costume parties, sugar comas, and hooking up our clients with some awesome photo swag! So read on...if you dare...(sorry, still in Halloween mode).

We had so much fun shooting a corporate Halloween party this past Friday night at University of Phoenix stadium! Sadly, despite us now being a full-fledged Cardinals family, we'd never been to the stadium before. We had the privilege of getting a tour of the facility and hanging out with Big Red for a couple hours. It was so cool to see the press box, visiting locker room, and all the other behind the scenes stuff. All in all, it was a great time to hang out and any time we get to work side by side, it's really one of our favorite parts of our job!

The kids dressed up for Halloween in a "unique" assortment of characters this year. Themes went out the window as each kid decided on their own costume by themselves and, like we said last week, our give a care about Halloween was broken! Cowgirl?! Yes ma'am! Super Mario?! Fine by us! Bumblebee? Right on! The kids had a blast and so did we. If you missed our Halloween recap, check it out from earlier this week.

Finally, we were so pleased to present our clients with some truly beautiful photo albums and framed prints this week! These professionally printed photo albums really are a thing to behold. We know that most of you out there are busy with work, school, activities, and life in general. That's why we absolutely LOVE coming alongside our clients to take away some of their burden by helping them celebrate their family through photographic art. We find so much joy in being able to work with families to leave their legacy for the next generation by creating quality photographic art that will truly last a lifetime. If you are one of the busy ones that can never find the time to take photos, print photos, hang photos, or even think about photos, go ahead and tap that contact us link...we really do love helping and would love to help you too!

Have a safe and happy weekend everyone! We'll catch you all next week!

Fri-yay! Weekly Recap #17!

Fri-yay! Weekly Recap #17!

Happy pre-Halloween weekend! We aren't gonna lie...we kinda almost forgot Halloween this year. Mostly because well...parent mush brain? Does that work as an excuse?! If not, it does now so deal with it people! Thankfully, Walmart saved the day with a ridiculous assortment of licensed character costumes! Nothing says FUN! like dressing up in clothing made out of cheap plastic table cloth material for an hour or so and coming home with enough candy to send an elephant into a diabetic coma! We can't wait!

With Halloween comes Halloween parties at school! Megan (bravely) volunteered to help chaperone Olivia's First Grade Halloween Spooktacular. They had tons of fun playing games, doing Halloween word searches, and eating way too much sugar! It was an awesome time to get some "girl time" together, meet Olivia's school friends and teachers, and have a blast!

We also had Parent/Teacher conferences this week. Duh, duh, duuuuuh... (cue intense music). Ok they weren't that bad, but because this was our first time EVER doing them, we didn't really know what to expect. All we really knew about Parent/Teachers conferences is what we remembered as kids...which is basically these were a special time for parents and teachers to get together and conspire about how to make your elementary school life completely miserable for the remaining 6 months of the school year. You can understand our shock when, in actuality, this was NOT how these little meetings went. To our complete surprise, their teachers were totally normal, awesome people who love our kids and know all their little personality quirks ALREADY! We brought each of them a little package of Megan's (soon to be) World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies because bribery never hurt anyone, right?! It was interesting to see the whole experience as a parent and we are proud to say, the kids are doing pretty awesome in school! However, we can't guarantee we didn't conspire just a little bit with their teachers to make their lives a little bit miserable. ;-) After all, that's part of any healthy childhood right?!

Finally, we had one of our first ever Premier Nights this week! We had so much fun with the Ward Family! It truly is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do when we get to sit down with a family and do their image reveal.  We really want this to be a special moment for each and every family we photograph. We love hearing their reactions, seeing the tears of joy, and helping them use their images to turn their house into a home! It really was a special time, and we are so glad they loved their photos...but we're even more glad that we got to hang out with them, get to know them, and help them celebrate their beautiful family! If you'd like more information about what we do, or what our Premier Night is all about, go ahead and contact us and we'd love to share our vision for photography, family, and how you can use your photographs to showcase your beautiful family!

Have a safe and happy Halloween weekend everyone! We'll catch y'all again on Monday!
